Looks like we’re not the only ones calling for Americans to congress in an effort to address the federal government’s repeated failing to uphold its place under constitutional law.

The time has come for a non-violent, mass movement to either force the government to accept the constitutional restrictions on its power, or to reestablish one that will.

It’s Time for Some PUMA Action!

Yes, it’s the launch of…the New York Area PUMAs for Women’s Rights

The PUMA movement was born spontaneously in the zeitgeist around the May 31, 2008 DNC RBC meeting in Washington, DC. We mobilized to action during the shocking events leading up to and as a result of the Democratic Party’s betrayal of the fair reflection of the voters.

So, PUMAs . . . what are you doing now?

We New York Area PUMAs are still connected! We have formed an unaffiliated grassroots group, and created a new blog: NYPWR: New York Area PUMAs for Women’s Rights. Our mission is articulated by Hillary Rodham Clinton in her statement that “women’s rights are human rights.”

The Monster is ANGRY.  The Monster is LIVID!  I have spent hundreds of hours away from my family and months of my life looking for the spider who is behind the unbelievable insanity of the 2008 election cycle and current world events.  I knew the CFR, Trilateral and Bilderbergs were just the front men for the real shadow figures who WROTE the game, are moving the chess pieces on the board, live above the game, and DON’T CARE WHAT YOU THINK!  Not only do they not care what you think, they started the whole political bigotry of Democrats versus Republicans.  They want you squabbling like little children on the playground while they weave the awful net that you are now caught in….and what do I see and hear everywhere I go?

Live Free, or Die?

Over the course of the 2008 Election cycle I have become aware that a great many Americans misunderstand, or misinterpret the Constitution of the United States, specifically the Bill of Rights. People tend to see the first ten amendments as consisting of rights granted to us by the Constitution. This is essentially what we are taught in public school from a young age. I myself labored under this misguided notion for many years until I realized that this is wholly and totally false. The Bill of Rights does not guarantee us any rights whatsoever. It defines the rights that the government cannot attempt to abrogate, and grants us any and all powers not given to the federal government, or the states.

The Declaration of Independence states that we are “endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.” The Bill of Rights elucidates more of you’re unalienable rights, and makes it plain the government may not infringe upon them.

This is a vital distinction of the utmost importance. It is failure of Americans to understand this that allows the government to impinge upon that which is yours. As I have mentioned numerous times, all three branches of government are in violation of the Constitution.

Your right to peacefully assemble, to worship the religion of your choice, to free speech, to petition the government for a redress of grievances, to habeas corpus, to be free from warrantless invasions of your privacy, to not have soldiers quartered in your home, to possess and bear arms…these are your inherent rights. Governments do not have the power to grant these rights, or take them from you. You are born with them.  They are your birthright, and it is your obligation as an American citizen to stand up and oppose any body that attempts to infringe upon your rights.

You have the unalienable right as a human being, not simply as an American, to peaceably assemble.  The Constitution clearly states that this right cannot be abridged.  Exercise that right.  We have the indefeasible right to speak freely.  No longer refer to our elected officials as Senator this or Congressman that or Representative the other.  These men and women are criminals.  They are in violation of the Constitution of the United States.  We are not obligated to observe or abide by any law that this Congress issues, or this President signs.  Any one of them that fails to stand up to the Executive is a criminal; period.

Now is not the time for fear.  Now is the time for courage.  Before the delegates of the Continental Congress voted for independency they sent a peace offering to the king of England, a petition for a redress of grievances, and an attempt at reconciliation that became known as the Olive Branch Petition.  The king never set eyes on it.  He declared the colonies to be in a state of rebellion, and that the leaders of the revolt, and anyone else participating in it could either swear fealty to the Crown, or be executed as a traitor.  These same delegates signed the Declaration of Independence; it was their death warrant.  Had the revolution failed, all the names that have become icons of history: Jefferson, Adams, Franklin, Hancock, on and on…would have hung by the neck until dead.  They staked their very lives upon the independency of this nation, to the good, and ill that it has committed over the last two centuries, so that there might be one place where the rule of law existed to one cause and purpose: defending human liberty.

Look within yourselves and draw on whatever strength you possess, whatever well of inspiration is within you.  Your life, your children, their future posterity, their thriving or subjugation is entirely in your hands.  Gather in your homes.  Talk to your families.  Talk to your neighbors.  Whatever they might have thought of the man in the White House before, there is more than enough evidence to show that he is a liar and that he, and the people behind him, and the Congress that marches along without question, mean to do us and this republic irreparable harm.  The time to dose your friends with the kool-aid antidote is now.

Time is short my friends.  Gather.  Speak out.  Do not stop.  Do not be silent.  Now is the time for courage.  Now is the time, regardless of where we came from, or how light or heavy our purse, to stand up and say, “No more!”

Phone calls are not enough.  Letters are not enough.  Your elected officials have offices in your state.  Go there.  Take your children.  Put faces to the one thing they need almost as much as their money and power: your vote.  You are a human being.  Go to their offices.  Show your faces.  Make them see you.  Email them photos of your families.  If you can make the journey, go to Washington to see them.  Go to their offices.  Make their staff see you.  Tell them you are not just a vote.  You have needs, desires, dreams.  They are not your masters unless you allow it to be so.  Make it clear to them that if they do not oppose the man in the White House then their services are no longer required.  Put them on notice that they do not rule by your consent.  Fire the lot of them.  They are nothing but criminals.

You are endowed with the unalienable right to live free from the rule of oligarchs and criminals.  You have the indefeasible right to alter or abolish any government that does not effect your Safety and Happiness.  Do not be afraid.  They are flesh and blood, not gods.  If they detain one of us, another takes their place.  If they silence one, another will speak.  And as the Mahatma said, if they kill us they will have our dead bodies, not our allegiance.  If we come in non-violence and they arrest us; we win.  If we come in peace and they kill us; we win.  The only way we lose is by doing nothing.

Doing nothing is no longer an option.  This is not simply a struggle to preserve our republic.  This is a fight for human rights; your human rights.  No government is endowed with the power to violate them, regardless of the words of dictators, or the policies of oligarchs.  This is not about Republicans or Democrats, conservatives or liberals.  Human rights knows no party, knows no ideology save one: Freedom.

We are human.  It is our natural state to live free.  We live free, or we die.

I for one am not willing to be enslaved, or be a puppet to an oligarchy.  What say you?

Tea Party Cancelled? Send A Message To Washington And Start Packing Your Bags

This post has been a few days in the writing, but now is a very good time to put these ideas out because now I have a great segue into it.  We have reached the crossroads folks, and we have to make a decision.  More and more people are becoming “awake” to the fact that our government stopped listening to us awhile back.  We did not want a bank bailout; it happened, and over half the money went to foreign banks.  We did not want the stimulus plan; a $1.2 Trillion fiasco; they did not read it and passed it anyways. We said “let the corrupt companies fail”, that did not happen.  We do not want the $3.7 Trillion Budget being put forth by the fascists in charge, and Nazi Nancy and her buddy, Prince Harry, “I need you to believe that we can do anything we want, so why fight?”, are going to make that happen too.  We do not want our taxes to be increased anymore, that’s definitely on the way.  It is abundantly clear to me that the people we elected to govern the country have decided to no longer listen to us and follow our wishes as was laid out in the Constitution of the United States.  How much more blatant does it have to be?

A tea party scheduled for April 1st has been cancelled because the City of Cape Coral, Florida felt more than 500 people were going to attend, therefore requiring the organizer to obtain a permit AND insurance. The news article makes it seem like the city cancelled the tea party, but fair is fair, and technically the organizer, Lynn Rosko made the decision.  Did the City of Cape Coral box her into a corner?   Well if it looks like a duck….

CAPE CORAL, Fla. – A tea party to protest government spending and taxing is canceled. Canceled by the government.

Why? They feel too many people could show-up.

Lynn Rosko planned to hold a tax payer tea party at Jaycee Park in Cape Coral on April 1st. The idea was announced at a Cape Coral City Council meeting, then an e-mail blast by the Republican Party and it was mentioned in the local media.

With all of that attention, the City of Cape Coral felt there could be more than 500 people attending the tea party.

Therefore Rosko needed to get a permit and insurance for the event. Rosko says she’s not willing to get insurance and accept liability for something that a stranger could do. Rosko told WINK News, “I have rescinded any organizing or supervision or what ever you want to call it over this tea party on April 1st.”

WINK News spoke to the director of parks for Cape Coral. He says that even now if Rosko is willing to get insurance for the event he’ll likely re-authorize it.

For now Rosko’s event is canceled, she’s encouraging people to attend the April 15th Tax Payer Tea Party in Centennial Park in Fort Myers.

Do you recognize this?  I just re-read the Constitution and Bill of Rights AGAIN because I was looking for the exact wording of this amendment:

Article the third [Amendment I]
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

The clause the states wanted added into the Constitution is right there in black and white.   “Congress shall make no law… abridging the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”  There is nothing in there about permits and insurance, and the city laws passed requiring permits and insurance, (in hopes of deterring ‘the people’), are an abridgement just as much as the permit that I had to obtain to have a firearm.

Our Constitution was put in place to constrict the power of the federal government, not control our every action.

We now have another prime example of how our Constitution has been eroded by the powers that be in hopes of controlling us and turning us into serfs, and according to Dr. Bob Basso/Thomas Paine, they have done a fantastic job of turning us into spectators to our own demise.

So here we all are milling about at the “crossroads” between losing our Constitutional freedoms and taking back our country, wondering what exactly we are supposed to do because the people we elected to govern wisely have all gone off a power/money/sex cliff with a moral compass that has become a gyroscope.  We entrusted them with the governing of our country so that we could get the actual work of making the country prosper accomplished for ourselves and future generations.  What have they been doing while we have been building a nation?  Once again, if it looks like a duck….or…(insert your own word here…)

For months I have felt that a 50 million person march (or more) on Washington, D.C., shutting down the business of the capital might just get our elected officials attention.  Maybe.  Mr. Basso is correct in that every single Congressman and Senator that DID NOT READ THE 1100 PAGE STIMULUS BILL SHOULD BE FIRED, and I do not think waiting until next year sends the right message – you are fired now!  Go home, your services are no longer required.  When was the last time that they actually passed meaningful legislation that helped everyday Americans?  Women got the vote in 1920?  The repealment of Prohibition? Don’t even start with FDR and his ponzi scheme of Social Security.

All of that being said, here are some suggestions that I urge everyone to tell their friends and family about, and then make it happen!

  1. Fly a Gadsen “Don’t Tread On Me Flag” at your home. (Look in the sidebar carousel for the $1.99 item.)
  2. Get a copy of the Constitution and put it in the front window of your home.
  3. Print out copies of the following pictures of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.
  4. Send the Constitution to your congressmen and senators with the message, “The Declaration Is Coming Next”.  Don’t waste your postage sending it to the White House, he is too busying partying, and he has proven that he does not have your best interests at heart with his additions to the $78.6 TRILLION Deficit.
  5. If they send you one of those patronizing, condescending form letters back, start sending them a copy of the Declaration as often as you would like.
  6. Start talking to everybody you know about going to Washington DC – and soon.

It is our duty and moral obligation to the Founding Fathers, every man or woman who has fought and DIED for our liberties, every legal immigrant that has made this country great, our parents and grandparents that made this country flourish, and OUR CHILDREN, to reign this suicidal, Constitution shredding, government in.  I, for one, do not want to slide off the fascist cliff that we are being so slowly led to.   How many of you think twice about what you say or write?  There is your indication!  This also includes the abolition of the Federal Reserve System so that we no longer have to pay interest on money that OUR TREASURY requested be printed.  A central bank system set up by the very corrupt bankers that are ruining our country right now is enough reason to get our sorry behinds off our couches and out into the streets!

The Tax Day Tea Parties are a great start, but we must think BIG!

A Redress of Grievances: Part II

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. ~ Constitution of the United States; Amendment I

First, let us be absolutely clear.  Congress cannot, in any way, hinder, impede, or otherwise sanction against the right to a redress of grievances.  The Supreme Court has ruled that this applies to the Executive and Judicial branches as well.  In addition the SCOTUS has also ruled that the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment applies all First Amendment limitations to all State governments, and all local governments.  In my opinion, if any branch of local, state, or national government moves to abridge this right that body of governance should be immediately dissolved.

What is this redress of grievances?  Let’s define it.

To petition means to, “make or present a formal request to (an authority) with respect to a particular cause,” according to the New Oxford American Dictionary.

Redress: to “remedy or set right (an undesirable or unfair situation).”

With these definitions in mind, my interpretation of this clause is as follows: It is the indefeasible, unassailable right of Americans to demand that government, be it local, state, or national, correct such wrongs as are brought before it by said petitions.  This is not optional.  The government is constitutionally bound to bring remedy to such a petition.  Failure to do so is tantamount to dissolving the compact between the governed and the government, which rules only by our consent.

To my mind the list of grievances to be brought against all three branches of the government are far too long to be remedied in toto.  I therefore contend that the only remedy that can be brought to bear is the resignation of our elected officials: the Congress, the President.  On what basis do we make this demand?  On our nation’s Magna Carta:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men [and all women] are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

Does anyone deny that we have suffered a long train of abuses?  Have we not been taxed without our consent?  Have we not become subjugated by a central banking system that operates outside the purview of the Constitution, that is beholden to no one?  Is this not financial despotism?  Have we not witnessed gross violations of the Constitution by our elected officials across many administrations?  Has our right to privacy, and protection from warrantless searches been violated by the President and Congress?  Has the federal court not abdicated its duties by failing to strike down the warrantless wiretapping scheme as a violation of the Fourth Amendment?  These are the reasons we fought Britain for our independence.  These acts were intolerable then.  They are intolerable now.  Allowing any further abuses will only lead to despotism and tyranny.  To whom can we turn to remedy this situation if not We The People?

The time has come for one unified petition for redress with only one remedy.  The resignation and replacement of our elected officials and finally, Supreme Court.

Your assignment: write your own petition listing the violations that have been committed by the federal government against you.  Post them here.  And let us define the terms and mechanics involved in replacing the Congress.  Engage in this process and end this nonsense.

Oops, she did it again. In accordance with our new Resident-in-Chief’s code words for a fairer America, our beloved Chief of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, has scorned Merriam Webster’s definition of “people using planes to take down buildings”, better known as terrorists. Well, we can’t have such inflammatory language regardless of the body bags and atrocities.
Dear Readers: Please note. Henceforth, all acts of naughtiness by foreign and domestic individuals or groups shall be now classified as “man-caused disasters.” Let us understand the genesis of this lexicon. If a female naughty girl straps a bomb to her body and detonates it in the middle of Wrigley Field, this cannot be called a “man-caused disaster,” for the obvious gender reasons. This is something I hope Ms. Napolitano can address. Hurricanes, earthquakes, and other weather related catastrophic events are “natural disasters.” Allow yourselves to understand the difference. To review, we have “man-caused” and “natural” disasters.
Moving along, I just have a small issue with our change of verbiage from Terrorists to “man-caused disasters.” After all, the latter seems almost…benign. From a personal standpoint, I was unfortunate enough to witness the horror of 9/11 from my window and then experience it in my heart. The enveloping fear that ensued was unspeakable and surrounded those directly affected for some time, perhaps still lingering. Post traumatic stress disorder gripped many. To plan, plot, coordinate, synchronize, pray to Allah for seventy virgins to await you after you complete your “disaster” in the name of hatred for what you consider to be Satanic America, resulting in the unspeakable deaths of almost three thousand innocent civilians is only described adequately by one word, terrorism.
During the campaign of our chief fraud, he was oft consulting his teleprompter where upon he read the following, “Words Matter.” Yes they do, O’fraud, yes they do. When you suffer so deeply, watching men and women hurling themselves out of fiery buildings, storming cockpits, making one last call to say goodbye to your loved ones, sorry buddy…those are NOT the results of a “man-caused disaster.” Terror, in the hearts and minds of the innocents. Softening the lingo will not deprogram those who are indoctrinated to hate Americans. We are, and have been, trying to thwart the never ending chatter that is a result of the War on Terror. Period.
Sixty one days in office, and YOU, Resident-in Chief, have ordered Gitmo closed, whilst the Attorney General, “Coward” Holder is considering releasing some detainees onto the streets of our great country. Not the prisons, the streets! These detainees were found on battlefields, they are or were enemy combatants, not check out clerks at Wal-Mart. What the hell is going on here, oh muslim raised Resident?
In an interview for Spiegel Online, a German publication, Secty. Napolitano
attempts to explain this change of lingo, sounding like the incompetent fool that she was trying to secure the borders as the former Governor of Arizona.
SPIEGEL: “Madame Secretary, in your first testimony to the US Congress as Homeland Security Secretary you never mentioned the word “terrorism.” Does Islamist terrorism suddenly no longer pose a threat to your country?”

Napolitano: “Of course it does. I presume there is always a threat from terrorism. In my speech, although I did not use the word “terrorism,” I referred to “man-caused” disasters. That is perhaps only a nuance, but it demonstrates that we want to move away from the politics of fear toward a policy of being prepared for all risks that can occur.”
Someone please explain that gibberish to me. If we are still referring to Islamic Jihad, what other risks does she have in mind?

The astute journalist of Speigel further questions her:
SPIEGEL: “You would like the German authorities to share personal data of terrorism suspects, such as fingerprinting and DNA?”

Napolitano: “That is exactly right. We will also want to share some experiences with counter-radicalization, how the radicalization of young Muslims in our countries can be prevented.”

SPIEGEL: “Europe has a problem with just such people, young Muslims who grew up in the West and are still susceptible to radical messages. The terrorists responsible for the July 2005 attacks in London are an example.”

Napolitano: “In some ways, the problem in Europe is greater than in the United States. But the questions are the same. How do you identify a youth who is susceptible to becoming radicalized? How do you work with that youth, his family and community to give them alternatives to radicalization?”

As I pop another tranquilizer, let us review. We as a nation will now develop a social program, perhaps hire psychologists who work with troubled youth, to explore the minds of the younger demographic who might have a propensity for creating a “man-caused disaster.”
Is anyone listening? Suicide bombers are no different than the kamikaze pilots of World War II. They want to die for their cause, they will not be analyzed on plush, leather couches.
We blog to vent. We blog to be read. We blog because somewhere inside of all of us lies the seemingly impossible notion that our rational words will matter.

I lived through 9/11. No one can tell me they are not terrorists.

How is this relevant to City Tavern? Without our nation’s security in check, our voices will be rendered silent.
